XploreSulit is an independently operated consumer-information website that publishes buying guides, product guides, comparisons, deals, and other content intended to help Filipino consumers make informed purchasing decisions.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be used, and the choices available to you when visiting XploreSulit.

1. Information We Collect

• Join our newsletter waitlist or subscribe to the newsletter.

You do not need to create an account or provide personal information simply to read XploreSulit articles.

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 and, where enabled, Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use XploreSulit. The information collected may include:

XploreSulit uses limited cookies and browser storage for website functions, visitor preferences, and consent-based analytics.

Essential storage

Essential browser storage may be used to:

• Remember whether you dismissed a website notice or optional widget.
• Support secure sessions on restricted administrator pages.

Essential storage supports basic website operation and preferences. It is separate from optional analytics cookies.

Analytics cookies

If you select Accept analytics, Google Analytics may place cookies such as _ga and related identifiers in your browser, and Microsoft Clarity, where enabled, may place cookies such as _clck and _clsk. These cookies help distinguish visits and produce aggregated website-usage reports.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not activated through XploreSulit before you provide consent. If you select Reject non-essential, XploreSulit does not activate these analytics cookies through the website.

You can change or withdraw your choice through the Cookie settings link available on XploreSulit. You may also view, block, or delete cookies using your browser settings.

4. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

XploreSulit uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general website traffic and engagement.

Google Analytics may provide information about:

• How visitors find XploreSulit.
• Which articles and pages receive visits.
• How visitors navigate and interact with the website.
• General device, browser, and location trends.
• Whether website content and navigation are working as intended.

XploreSulit may also use Microsoft Clarity, a heatmap and session-recording analytics tool, where enabled, to understand navigation patterns and where visitors may encounter difficulty using the website.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are activated only after a visitor accepts analytics cookies.

We do not currently use Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity for personalized advertising, and we do not intentionally send personally identifiable information to either service.

Google and Microsoft may process analytics information on systems located outside the Philippines. Their handling of information is governed by their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

5. Google Search Console

XploreSulit uses Google Search Console to monitor how the website appears in Google Search, review aggregated search-performance information, and identify indexing or technical issues.

Google Search Console is an administrative reporting tool. It does not add a separate analytics cookie to visitors through XploreSulit.

Information processed when people use Google Search is governed by Google's own privacy practices.

6. Newsletter and Communications

The XploreSulit newsletter is currently under development. If you join the waitlist or subscribe, we may retain:

• Your email address
• The date you subscribed
• Your subscription status

We use this information to provide newsletter-related updates and, after launch, send communications you have requested.

You do not need an XploreSulit account to unsubscribe. When an automated unsubscribe link is available, you may use that link. You may also request removal by emailing support@xploresulit.com.

We may retain a limited record of an unsubscribe request when necessary to ensure that the address is not added back to the mailing list without permission.

7. Service Providers

XploreSulit may engage trusted third-party service providers to support the operation of the website. These providers may perform services such as:

Once you leave XploreSulit, the destination website's privacy policy, cookie practices, and terms apply. XploreSulit does not control how an external website collects, stores, or uses information.

When affiliate links are used, they will be disclosed in accordance with the XploreSulit Affiliate Disclosure.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

We may update this Privacy Policy when XploreSulit introduces new features, changes service providers, launches its newsletter, begins new affiliate arrangements, or updates its data-handling practices.
